Sri Sri And Ramdev Suck-Up Together

File under: Backroom Gurudom and The Siddhi of PR

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and Swami Ramdev snuggled up to right-wing Indian politician L.K. Advani yesterday in Bhopal, India, together:
Ravi Shankar was indeed scheduled to release the Hindi edition of Advani’s autobiography, My Country My Life, in Bhopal. But the big surprise was Ramdev stepping into the chartered plane that flew in journalists, BJP leaders and Advani’s friends and family from Delhi.

More so since [Ramdev] has always claimed to be apolitical and flaunted his dislike for communal politics.
Uh oh. It looks like Swami Rancor has succumbed to the same suck-up fever that's plagued Sri Sri ever since that fateful day he decided to out-do his own guru, TM™'s Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, in divine self-aggrandizement.

Ramdev's got a ways to catch up to Sri Sri's heights of self-glorification, but we're sure he's got what it takes to propel himself straight to the top of Mount Narcissism.

Jody you are one A.H.
What the hell do you mean by "Right wing"? BJP is a legitimate party that looks after Hindu interests and has been accepted by the people of India. They just on in Karnataka, the first time that the south has elected them to power. Your labelling is crass and you suck up to the idiotic left press, who are Anti India. As far as Sri Sri is concerned, I have stopped being his fan but he is a thousand times better than you.

Well, if it isn't little Mr. RSS. Trained with the brownshirts yourself did you A.H.noymous? Any Indian who talks like you is a fool, and in total denial about what the BJP is. Thank God that the bulk of the population is more savvy than you -- remember that the BJP made all their glorious promises, and when, after a couple of years of no results, the Greatest Democracy in the World, voted them straight out the door to the minority. Or have you forgotten that fact? Or maybe you are just Shiv Sena, or some more of the far right mafioso? Who cares. When the BJP fails in Karnataka, they'll be voted out of there too. Eventually all their hot air will be seen for what it is -- racist propaganda, aimed at generating more communal violence, in the name of "looking after Hindu interests". Blah blah blah, blow on, gas bag, your time and that of SSRS, and BJP is over soon.

Expected from a true "liberal'
"Well, if it isn't little Mr. RSS. Trained with the brownshirts yourself did you?"

You are the AH. For your info, I am not an RSS member and have never been, but I know what's good for India, which unfortunately your background has not allowed you to know.

"What the hell do you mean by "Right wing"? BJP is a legitimate party that looks after Hindu interests and has been accepted by the people of India."

How exactly does it look after Hindu interests?

By allowing Hindu marauders to butcher Muslims during Gujarat riots, while BJP government continued to look the other way?

"Your labelling is crass and you suck up to the idiotic left press, who are Anti India."

Seriously. If you believe that hate propaganda of BJP is "pro-India", then I pity for you and pity for India. You will have a civil war at your doorstep sooner than you think.

It is another myth that bjp is a 'saintly' party. They too are equally power hungry.Recall the Indian Airlines hijacked to kandahar. The hindu bride was "handled" as per koranic injunctions and her husband killed, the body being dumped in dubai.

What was bjp's response? More cricket and more cross border tangoeing.Indians deserve to be ruled over by a Benevolent Dictator.

For our A.H.noymous who "knows what's best for India" and so loves his BJP, please read Maximum City. Great and fun book, filled with insight to the "background" which has allowed the BJP to flourish from the grassroots level in India: poor, disenfranchised youth in the inner city who just need some money, and will take it from anywhere and do anything for it, including murder, loot and lie. Those few educated "leaders" of the Hindutva take advantage of these poor guys, and use them to achieve their goals -- to brainwash pitiable fools like you that "India is for Hindus", blah blah blah blah blah.

These kinds of politics can be seen the world over. Witness the rhetoric in the United States spewed by people in their extreme right. It's so similar to the right wing in India that it's remarkable (again if you can read a newspaper from overseas, you could open your mind to the similarities). A major difference is that the United States brainwashes their poor, disenfranchised youth into joining their armed forces and fighting useless wars, and fighting abortions. So their "mafia" is a bit better armed than the BJP's, granted. But it's all the same right-wing brainwashing: "You are a liberal, so you can't possibly know anything". The catch-all phrase "liberal" is inserted whenever someone does not think that your racist or biased agenda against whole groups of people is correct. Then one is labelled "liberal". If a person can read (and will), they are 'liberal'.

Of course, if you cannot read, just go live in Bombay for some time, A.H.nonymous, and see it all first hand.
